Kadhalum Kadanthu Pogum is the biggest opener for Vijay Sethupathi

Vijay Sethupathi starter Kadhalum Kadanthu Pogum was released on March 11 and is grossing than what was expected in the K town. It has become the biggest opening for the actor in his list of films after Naanum Rowdy Thaan. The first day collection went upto Rs.2.5 crores only in Tamil Nadu while Naanum Rowdy Thaan had 2.15 crores on day 1.

There are also reports that it has garnered nearly 80-90 lakhs in the Chennai city alone. Some trade experts estimate that by the opening weekend of three days, it will manage to collect 6.5 crores. It was all because of Vijay Sethupathi’s distinguished acting that is impressing the Tamil audience.

Plus the Nalan Kumarasamy’s perfect direction after Soodhu Kavvum has added soul to the movie. It is bankrolled by C.V.Kumar’s Thirukumaran Entertainments. Though the story was well known to us previously as the remake of the Korean film My Dear Desperado, the screenplay and editing works are flawless suiting our views.
