Mani Ratnam’s next with Karthi in hot trade !!

Ace director Mani Ratnam’s next with Karthi has been bought by big production houses even before the start of the shooting. The theatrical rights are now owned by Sri Thenandal Films in Tamil Nadu and by Bandla Ganesh Babu in Andhra Pradesh/Telangana. This romantic flick will however be produced by the director’s banner Madras Talkies.

As reported earlier, Sai Pallavi has been replaced by Aditi Rao Hydari as the female lead. Hope the pair’s chemistry work out good on screen. Karthi has completed the shooting for Kashmora and he is presently taking flying lessons as he will be seen playing a pilot in the film. The crew has A.R.Rahman to compose his magical tunes and Ravivarman will handle the camera.

This untitled flick will be a multilingual made in Tamil, Telugu & Malayalam and the filming is likely to commence by September. The team was scouting locations like Srirangam in Trichy to kickstart the venture. They are also preferring for hilly locations to bring a good ambience and have finalised few places at Himachal Pradesh, Kerala, Ooty and Coonoor.
