Venkatesh’s ‘Guru’ all set for a summer release

Venkatesh, last seen in ‘Drushyam’ is known for different kinds of roles in his each and every film. The actor now will be essaying the role of a boxing coach in the film titled ‘Guru’. The film is directed by Sudha Kongara, who previously directed ‘Irudhi Suttru’ in Tamil and ‘Saala Khadoos’ in Hindi has directed the same remake in Telugu. Director Sudha had been an associate with the director Mani Rathnam for seven years. Ritika Singh and Mumtaz Sorcar who featured in the Tamil and Hindi versions of the film have portrayed their same roles in this film too.

The film is produced by S Shashikanth of Y NOT studios and the music for the film is composed by Santhosh Narayanan. A lyrical video “Aye Sakkanodu” from the album will be released on 17th February and the full album will be released in March.

The film shoot is complete and the post-production is going on. The director has aimed for a summer release of the film, so we can expect the release in April.
