Director Sundar C’s ‘Sangamithra’ to be launched in Cannes Film Festival

Director Sundar C informed earlier that he will be directing a trilingual period fantasy titled ‘Sangamithra’ with Jayam Ravi, Arya and Shruti Haasan in lead roles. A R Rahman will be composing music for this film and ‘Thenandal Studios Limited’ will be producing this mega venture.

Shruti Haasan will be essaying the role of an eight century warrior princess and she has been undergoing training sessions for sword fighting in London.

Surprising news is the team of ‘Sangamithra’ including director Sundar C, Jayam Ravi, Arya , Shruti Haasan, Producer Murali and Art director Sabu Cyril will be walking the Red carpet of Cannes Film Festival. They will be launching ‘Sangamithra’ in the opening night of the film festival. ‘Sagamithra’ has gone International!
