• Sudharshan and Vennila first worked together in Tuntari (2016) because the director needed a fresh pair for a village love story. Vennila was a newcomer, and Sudharshan was still finding his footing — the casting director literally paired them in a room and said, 'You two look like you grew up in the same village.'
• In Supreme (2016), Vennila’s character was the emotional anchor while Sudharshan played the hot-headed hero. Vennila later said in an interview that she had to slow down her dialogue delivery on purpose because Sudharshan would rush his lines when nervous — she set the rhythm for their scenes together.
