• Sunil and Srikanth first shared screen space in 'Aaduthu Paaduthu' (2002) because the director needed two comedians who could also dance. Neither was a lead yet — they were just the funny guys in the song sequences.
• In 'Michael Madana Kamaraju' (2008), Sunil played the straight man to Srikanth's over-the-top antics. Srikanth would improvise dialogue on set, and Sunil would react in real time — that unscripted back-and-forth became the film's funniest moments.
