• Vivek personally requested Namitha for Sandai (2008) after their earlier hit in Telugu. He told the director she was the only one who could match his comic timing in the action-comedy scenes.
• In Perumal (2009), Vivek deliberately slowed down his dialogue delivery so Namitha's reactions could land. She later said he taught her how to pause for a laugh — something no other co-star had done.
• During the shoot of 1977 (2009), Namitha would bring homemade biryani for the entire crew every Friday. Vivek joked she was trying to fatten him up so he'd look older in the period setting.
