• Director Jeeva cast Vivek and Shaam together in 12B (2001) because he wanted two fresh faces who looked like actual college students — not polished heroes. Both were relative newcomers, and Jeeva deliberately paired them to create a raw, unglamorous vibe that matched the film's real-time thriller format.
