• For their first film 'E' (2006), director SP Jhananathan cast Pasupathy first, then asked him to suggest a female lead. Pasupathy personally recommended Nayantara, whom he had never worked with before, based on her performance in a Malayalam film he'd seen.
• In 'E' (2006), Pasupathy deliberately slowed down his dialogue delivery in their confrontation scenes to match Nayantara's natural rhythm. He later told a magazine that he did this so her reactions wouldn't feel rushed — a trick he learned from watching her rehearse.

• In 'Anaamika' (2014), the Telugu remake of 'Kahaani', Pasupathy played a police officer opposite Nayantara's pregnant woman. He improvised a scene where he offers her his handkerchief without breaking character — she later said that unscripted moment made her cry for real.
