• Priyamani and Seetha were cast as twin sisters in Chaarulatha (2012) — but the director originally wanted two different actresses. They both auditioned separately, and only after seeing their screen test together did the team realize they looked eerily alike. That test convinced the producers to go with the same pair for both roles.
• In Charulatha (2012), the horror scenes worked because Seetha set the emotional baseline — she played the scared, vulnerable twin — while Priyamani played the aggressive, vengeful one. Priyamani later said in an interview that Seetha's quiet panic made her own performance sharper, because she had to match that fear with rage.
• During the shoot of Aarumugam (2009), Priyamani and Seetha shared a room for three weeks in a small town near Tirunelveli. They developed a ritual: every night before bed, they'd run through the next day's dialogue together, correcting each other's Tamil diction.
