• Reemma Sen was the one who pushed for M. S. Narayana to be cast in 'Veede' (2003). She had seen his comedy timing in earlier films and told the director he'd be perfect for the role of her on-screen father. The director agreed after a test scene.
• In 'Anji' (2004), Narayana improvised a whole scene where he tries to teach Reemma's character how to ride a bicycle. She kept breaking character because he kept adding new jokes on the spot. The director kept the final take where she's genuinely laughing.
• During the shoot of 'Bangaram' (2006), Reemma Sen and M. S. Narayana developed a running gag: every morning, she'd bring him a cup of chai from the same stall, and he'd rate it out of 10. By the end of the schedule, he gave her a '10' and said she should open a tea shop.
