• Meena and Raasi first shared screen space in 'Gillikajjalu' (1998) because the director needed two strong female leads who could match each other's energy in a comedy of errors. Neither was the first choice — the casting was a last-minute gamble that paid off.
• In 'Krishna Babu' (1999), Meena played the grounded, emotional anchor while Raasi brought the comic relief. Their scenes together worked because Meena would set the emotional tone, and Raasi would break the tension with a spontaneous line — they never rehearsed those moments.
