• Manisha Koirala was the one who pushed for Partho Ghosh to direct 'Agni Sakshi' (1996). She had just worked with him on a Bengali film and told the producers he was the guy. They trusted her call.
• On the set of 'Yugpurush' (1998), Manisha would deliberately break into laughter during serious scenes to lighten Partho's intense directorial style. He later admitted her playfulness made him relax and trust actors more.
