• Anandaraj and Devadarshini first shared screen space in Kola Kolaya Mundhirika (2010) because director Thambi Ramaiah specifically wanted a pair that looked like a real, middle-class couple — not the usual glamorous leads. He cast them after seeing their individual work in character roles.
