Karthik Kumar is n Indian theatre and film actor. He is popularly known as 'Evam' Karthik, due to his theater connections. He studied chemical engineering in Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering, Chennai. He is married to playback singer Suchitra Ramadurai . He played a role as Arjun in the Vijay TV drama Dharmayutham. He is the founder of Evam entertainment based out in Chennai. Some of the exceptional plays of Evam are \"The 39 Steps\" nominated under 8 categories and won two national awards, and \"Ali J\" which received more accolades during their appearance in Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2013.
