• Vennela Kishore wasn't the first choice for the comic role in Run Raja Run (2014). The director Sujeeth originally wanted a different comedian, but Sharwanand insisted on Kishore after seeing his work in a small role. Kishore got the part, and their first scene together became the film's most replayed comedy track.
• In Mahanubhavudu (2017), Sharwanand played a man with OCD, and Vennela Kishore played his chaotic best friend. Kishore deliberately broke every 'clean' setup Sharwanand's character had built — knocking over neatly stacked items, smudging glass surfaces. Sharwanand told an interviewer that Kishore's improvisations made his own reactions more genuine because he was genuinely annoyed on set.
• Their double-act in Padi Padi Leche Manasu (2018) — where Kishore played a hyper-energetic friend who keeps pushing Sharwanand's shy character into romantic situations — directly inspired the 'wingman friend' trope in at least three Telugu rom-coms that followed in 2019-2020. Directors of those films openly credited this pair's rhythm as the template.
• On the sets of Kanam (2022), Sharwanand and Vennela Kishore shared a hotel room for the entire 45-day shoot in Kodaikanal. They would rehearse scenes at 2 AM after the crew wrapped, often rewriting Kishore's dialogue to make it sharper. Kishore later said those late-night sessions were the only reason his character had any comic beats in an otherwise emotional film.
• "I don't think I've ever laughed so hard on a set. Sharwa would break character mid-scene, and then I'd break, and we'd have to reshoot the whole thing.
