• Sarath Kumar and Raadhika first met on the set of Namma Annachi (1994) — but they weren't paired together. Raadhika was directing the film, and Sarath was the lead. She cast him after being impressed by his work in the Telugu film industry. They got married during the making of that very film.
• In Suryavamsam (1997), Raadhika played Sarath's mother — even though they were married in real life. She was only 10 years older than him, but she insisted on taking the role because she believed it would make the family drama more authentic.
