• Ajay and Rohini first worked together in Uyire Uyire (2016), but the pairing almost didn't happen. The director wanted a bigger name for the female lead; Rohini's audition tape convinced him to take a chance on her opposite Ajay.
• In Ala Vaikunthapuramulo (2020), Ajay deliberately slowed down his usual fast-paced dialogue delivery to match Rohini's more measured rhythm. He later told a behind-the-scenes crew that her timing made him a better listener on screen.
