• Navdeep was the one who pushed for Harsha Vardhan to be cast in Yagam (2010). The director had someone else in mind, but Navdeep insisted after seeing Harsha in a short film.
• In Bangaru Kodipetta (2014), Harsha Vardhan wrote most of his own dialogue on set. Navdeep would then tweak the timing during takes — they built the comedy rhythm together, line by line.
• Their third film together, Ala Vaikunthapuramulo (2020), was the one that finally clicked at the box office. It directly led to Harsha Vardhan getting offered more mainstream villain roles — something that hadn't happened before.
