• Venkatesh personally recommended Sudhakar to play the villain in Kondapalli Raja (1993). Sudhakar was a newcomer then, and that role launched his career as a go-to antagonist in Telugu cinema.
• In Raja (1999), Venkatesh and Sudhakar played brothers — one good, one bad. Sudhakar later said Venkatesh deliberately held back his intensity in their scenes together so Sudhakar's menace would pop more on screen.
• After Sankranthi (2005), the two never worked together again. But Sudhakar still calls Venkatesh 'Anna' (elder brother) off-camera, and Venkatesh was the first person Sudhakar called when he decided to quit acting in 2010.
• Sudhakar once said in an interview: 'Venkatesh never treated me like a villain. On set, he made sure I felt like a co-star, not a sidekick. That's why our fights looked real — because we trusted each other.'
