Sudhakar is an Indian actor, comedian, and film producer from Andhra Pradesh who built his career primarily in Tamil and Telugu cinema, debuting as lead hero in Bharathiraja's Kizhake Pogum Rail (1978) at age 18, playing Paranjothi, a young budding writer. That debut film ran for over 365 days in theatres and also marked M.R. Radhika's debut, launching a prolific on-screen pairing that spanned 18 films together. He starred in back-to-back Bharathiraja and K. Bhagyaraj directorials — Niram Maaratha Pookkal (1979) and Suvarilladha Chiththirangal (1979) — before transitioning to Telugu cinema in 1980, eventually appearing in over 600 films across Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, and Kannada. He won the Nandi Award for Peddarikam and also produced Telugu films including the hit Yamudiki Mogudu.
