• They first shared screen space in Jai Chiranjeeva (2005), but neither played the lead — they were both part of Chiranjeevi's massive ensemble cast. The film's director, V. V. Vinayak, paired them in a single scene where their characters had a tense face-off, and that brief clash convinced him to cast them together again.
• In Yagam (2010), Bhoomika played a village woman fighting for justice, while Rahul Dev played a ruthless antagonist. Their only direct confrontation scene was a 12-minute stretch where she had to hold her ground against his physical intimidation — she later said in an interview that Rahul deliberately stayed in character between takes to keep her adrenaline up, which made her performance sharper.
• Despite playing enemies on screen in both Jai Chiranjeeva and Yagam, Bhoomika and Rahul Dev became close friends during the Yagam shoot. She would bring him homemade Andhra food on set because he complained about missing home-cooked meals while shooting in the villages near Rajahmundry.
