• Vennela Kishore wasn't the first choice for the comedy track in Dookudu. The director originally wanted another comedian, but Kishore's audition tape — sent on a whim — made Srinu Vaitla laugh so hard he rewrote the role for him.
• In L7, Ajay and Vennela Kishore improvised an entire 4-minute scene where their characters argue over a missing chappal. The director kept the camera rolling because neither broke character — that scene made it to the final cut exactly as they played it.
• Their back-and-forth in Yevadu's 'blockbuster' comedy track became a template for Telugu buddy-comedy scenes in the mid-2010s. At least three later films directly copied the 'one guy panics, the other calmly escalates' rhythm they perfected here.
