
Simhadri(2003)
Simhadri is a 2003 Indian Telugu-language action drama film co-written and directed by S. S. Rajamouli. The film stars N. T. Rama Rao Jr. in the title role, alongside Bhumika Chawla, Ankitha, Mukesh Rishi, Nassar, and Rahul Dev. The story follows Simhadri, an orphan raised by a landlord, who secretly protects an amnesiac girl while leading a double life as a vigilante named Singamalai in Kerala. The film was praised for its emotional depth, high-octane action sequences, and strong performances, particularly by N. T. Rama Rao Jr. It became the highest-grossing Telugu film at the time, running for 100 days in 150 centers. The music was composed by M. M. Keeravani. Simhadri was released on 9 July 2003 and was later remade in Tamil as Gajendra and in Kannada as Kanteerava.

Storyline
