• Delhi Ganesh was the one who recommended Rahman for Nee Pathi Naan Pathi (1991). The director wanted a younger face, but Ganesh insisted Rahman had the right intensity. That film became their first pairing.
• In Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru (2016), Rahman played a retired police officer with a limp. Delhi Ganesh played his father. Rahman later said Ganesh's silent, worried glances in the interrogation scene forced him to underplay — making his performance more real.
• Between 1991 and 2016, they didn't work together for 25 years. But when Rahman called Ganesh for Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru, Ganesh accepted without reading the script. He told Rahman: 'If you're doing it, I'm doing it.'
