• Nagineedu was the one who pushed for Tagubothu Ramesh to play the comic sidekick in Pilla Zamindar (2011). The director wanted a bigger name, but Nagineedu insisted Ramesh had the right rhythm for the role.
• In Venkatadri Express (2013), Nagineedu would deliberately slow down his dialogue delivery so Ramesh could jump in with his punchlines. Ramesh later said that timing was everything, and Nagineedu gave him the space to land every joke.
• During the shoot of Asura (2015), Nagineedu and Ramesh shared a room in a small lodge near the sets. They would rehearse scenes at night by candlelight because the power kept cutting off.
• Tagubothu Ramesh once said in an interview: 'Nagineedu garu is the only senior actor who never treated me like a junior. He'd ask my opinion on a scene, and if I had a better line, he'd use it.'
• The success of their comic pairing in Venkatadri Express (2013) directly led to the director casting them again in Asura (2015) — but this time as serious characters. It was the first time both actors played against type together.
