• Nassar was B. Gopal's first choice for the villain in Vamsi (2000) because Gopal wanted a seasoned actor who could match the hero's intensity in the climax face-off. Nassar agreed immediately, no script narration needed — he trusted Gopal's track record with mass entertainers.
• On the sets of Adavi Ramudu (2004), Nassar would quietly rewrite his own dialogue in Telugu to make it sound more rustic, and B. Gopal let him do it without a single retake. Gopal later said Nassar's ear for dialect saved him from having to reshoot scenes.
• The only reason Narasimhudu (2005) got a theatrical release in Tamil Nadu was because Nassar personally called his contacts in the Tamil distributors' association and vouched for B. Gopal's film. That single call opened up 50+ screens in Chennai.
• During the making of Vamsi (2000), Nassar and B. Gopal shared a room at a cheap lodge in Hyderabad for 45 days because the film's budget was too tight for separate rooms. They'd stay up past midnight discussing old Tamil and Telugu films.
