• Aamani and Naresh first worked together in Jamba Lakadi Bamba (1993) because the director, E. V. V. Satyanarayana, wanted a fresh pair. He cast them both as newcomers — neither had a major hit yet — and the film became their launchpad.
• In Jamba Lakadi Bamba, Naresh played the comic lead while Aamani played the straight-laced love interest. Their dynamic worked because Naresh set the frantic pace with his slapstick timing, and Aamani anchored every scene with deadpan reactions — she made his chaos funnier by not laughing.
