• Suman and Tagubothu Ramesh first worked together in 2013 because director Ram Gopal Varma cast them both in 'Shadow' — Ramesh had just come off a hit comedy track in 'Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu', and Varma wanted that same energy opposite Suman's serious cop role.
• In 'Shadow', Ramesh did most of the comic improvisation on set while Suman stuck to the script — Suman later admitted in an interview that Ramesh's ad-libs made him laugh so hard they had to reshoot several scenes because his character was supposed to stay stone-faced.
• During the shoot of 'Kharjooram', the two shared a hotel room for three weeks because the production budget was so tight — they reportedly bonded over late-night card games and became close enough that Ramesh started calling Suman 'anna' off-camera.
