• Amitabh Bachchan personally requested Juhi Chawla for Ek Rishtaa (2001) after seeing her in Darr. He told the director he wanted someone who could hold her own against his intensity — and Juhi was his first and only choice.
• On the set of Paheli (2005), Juhi would deliberately break into giggles during Amitabh's serious monologues. He'd then break character and laugh too. Director Amol Palekar kept those takes because he said their real laughter made the ghost-husband scenes feel more human.
• Their pairing in Bhoothnath (2008) directly inspired the 2014 sequel Bhoothnath Returns — but only after Amitabh insisted Juhi's character be written back in. The sequel's entire emotional arc (a ghost bonding with a child) was built on the warmth they'd established in the first film.
