• Brahmaji and Raghu Babu first shared screen space in Adhyakshaa (2008), but neither was the director's first choice for their roles. The film's casting director pushed for both after a last-minute recce, and their comic timing clicked so well that the director added extra scenes for them during the shoot.
• In Autonagar Surya (2014), Raghu Babu played the loud, impulsive sidekick while Brahmaji was the deadpan, weary foil. Raghu would deliberately over-deliver his lines to make Brahmaji break character, and Brahmaji's stone-faced reactions became the scene-stealing punchline — a rhythm they reused in F2 (2019).
• Their double-act in Dear Comrade (2019) — where they played college friends who bicker constantly — directly inspired the comic duo track in the 2021 film Jathi Ratnalu. The writers of Jathi Ratnalu have admitted in interviews that they rewatched Dear Comrade's hostel scenes to study how Raghu and Brahmaji traded insults without losing warmth.
• On the sets of Bheeshma (2020), Raghu Babu and Brahmaji had a running bet: whoever flubbed a line first had to buy the other a box of kaju katli. Raghu lost seven times in the first week alone. Brahmaji still jokes that the film's budget should have accounted for his sweet tooth.
• Brahmaji once said in a 2020 interview: 'Raghu is the only actor who can make me laugh even when the director is yelling at us. We don't rehearse. We just look at each other and know what the other will do.'
