Autonagar Surya is a 2014 Indian Telugu-language periodic political action drama film directed by Deva Katta. The film stars Naga Chaitanya as Surya, a mechanic who rises against a corrupt system, and Samantha Ruth Prabhu as his love interest Sirisha. The story follows Surya from childhood in 1973 through his fight against a mafia-run industrial area in Vijayawada. It is the second film in Deva Katta's quadrilogy about society from a common man's perspective. The film received mixed reviews upon release but gained appreciation on satellite television over time. Its music was composed by Anup Rubens and cinematography by Srikanth Naroj. The film was released on June 27, 2014 after multiple delays.

Storyline
Surya loses his parents to a gangster as a child and grows up in Autonagar, Vijayawada. He becomes a brilliant mechanic who dreams of building electric vehicles. After a prison sentence for killing a gangster in self-defense, he returns to find Autonagar ruled by a corrupt mafia. Surya must fight the system to achieve his dreams and bring justice to his people.
