• Kalyan Ram personally approached Posani to write the dialogues for Pataas (2015) after being blown away by his work in earlier films. Posani initially said no — he was busy with political commitments. Kalyan Ram waited three months and asked again. That persistence got them started.
• On the sets of Sher (2016), Posani would rewrite entire scenes the night before shooting, and Kalyan Ram would memorize them by morning without complaint. Kalyan Ram later said Posani’s last-minute rewrites pushed him to be sharper — he couldn't rely on rote lines.
• The success of Naa Nuvve (2018) — their only hit together — directly led to Kalyan Ram producing Posani’s directorial debut, which was announced the same year. That film never got made, but the trust from that one hit almost launched Posani as a full-time director.
• During the making of Ism (2016), Posani and Kalyan Ram shared a room in a budget lodge in Hyderabad for two weeks because the production ran out of budget for separate rooms. They wrote the climax together on a single bed at 2 AM.
