• For 'Vaana' (2008), director M. S. Raju cast Naresh first, then asked him to suggest a co-star. Naresh personally recommended Krishnudu, who was relatively new then, because he wanted someone who could match his own comic timing.
• In 'Mogudu' (2011), Krishnudu and Naresh improvised an entire 8-minute comedy sequence about a stolen autorickshaw on the spot. The director kept the first take because their back-and-forth felt so natural.
