Vaana(2008)
Vaana is a 2008 Indian Telugu-language romantic drama film directed and produced by M. S. Raju. The film stars Vinay Rai in his Telugu debut and Meera Chopra as the lead pair. Suman, Jayasudha, Naresh, Seetha, and Diganth appear in supporting roles. The story follows Abhiram, a young man who falls in love with Nandini, a woman already engaged to another man. Set against the backdrop of Araku and Jog Falls, the narrative explores themes of sacrifice and unrequited love. The music was composed by debutant Kamalakar, with lyrics by Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry. The film is a remake of the Kannada blockbuster Mungaru Male. It received mixed-to-negative reviews and was a box-office flop. The film was later dubbed in Tamil as Gnabagangal Thalattum in 2013.

Storyline
Abhiram falls in love with Nandini at first sight. But Nandini is already engaged to Gautam. Abhiram tries to win her heart, but her father's health and her duty stand in the way. He must decide between fighting for his love or sacrificing it for her happiness.
