• Dhanraj was a choreographer before he turned actor. Diksha Panth was his first leading lady in Telugu — she was cast opposite him in 'Gopala Gopala' (2015) because the director wanted a fresh pair for a comedy track, and Dhanraj specifically asked for her after seeing her audition tape.
• In 'Kavvintha' (2016), Dhanraj played a shy lover while Diksha played the confident one. She actually coached him on his comic timing during rehearsals — he later said she made him loosen up on screen.
