• Srinu Vaitla didn't write Dookudu for Venkatesh. He wrote it for Mahesh Babu. But after Namo Venkatesa worked, Vaitla promised Kota Srinivasa Rao a meaty role in his next. That promise became the iconic 'Narappa' character — a role that wasn't in the original script.
