• Saptagiri was the one who pushed director Veerabhadram Chowdary to cast him in 'Idhe Maa Katha' (2021). Veerabhadram initially wanted a younger face for the role, but Saptagiri convinced him over a single phone call, saying he'd bring a raw, lived-in energy to the character.
• On the sets of 'Andaru Bagundali Andulo Nenundali' (2022), Veerabhadram would deliberately leave gaps in the script for Saptagiri to improvise. Saptagiri’s off-the-cuff one-liners became the film’s most shared clips on social media, especially the scene where he argues with a vegetable vendor.
