• Suseenthiran didn't want Vikranth for 'Pandianadu' (2013). He thought Vikranth was too young and soft for the rugged village role. Vikranth showed up to the narration with a shaved head and a lungi, already in character. Suseenthiran changed his mind on the spot.
• On 'Nenjil Thunivirundhal' (2017), Suseenthiran let Vikranth rewrite his own dialogue in the climax confrontation. Vikranth cut the director's long speeches into sharp, one-line punches. That scene became the most replayed part of the film.
• Their third film 'Suttu Pidikka Utharavu' (2019) was the first Tamil film to get a direct Telugu remake within a year. The Telugu version 'Maha' (2022) cast a completely different lead pair, but the original's fight choreography — designed by Suseenthiran specifically for Vikranth's speed — was copied beat for beat.
• After 'Pandianadu' wrapped, Suseenthiran and Vikranth made a pact: no matter how busy they got, they'd do one film together every three years. They kept it — 2013, 2017, 2019. Then they just stopped. No fallout. Vikranth later said they 'ran out of stories that needed both of us.'
• Vikranth on Suseenthiran, during 'Suttu Pidikka Utharavu' promotions: 'He doesn't direct me. He just tells me the situation and says, 'Now be the guy who would survive this.' I've never had another director trust me that much.'
