• Madhuri was already a huge star when they shot Kishen Kanhaiya in 1990. Rakesh Roshan was still finding his footing as a lead actor after a string of flops. She agreed to the film because she liked the double-role script, not because of him.
• In Khel (1992), Rakesh played a blind man. Madhuri had to physically guide him through every scene — holding his arm, steering his body, whispering cues. She later said that role made her a better listener on set because she had to read his breathing to time her lines.
