• Manoj Joshi and Mukesh Tiwari first shared screen space in 'Wake Up India' (2013) because the director needed two actors who could switch between comedy and menace in the same scene. Joshi later admitted he was nervous acting opposite Tiwari's booming voice.
• In 'Chor Bazaari' (2015), Tiwari played the loud, impulsive conman while Joshi played the quiet, calculating one. Joshi told a trade magazine that Tiwari's energy forced him to underplay every line — which made their scenes pop.
