• Madhan Bob and Singamuthu first shared screen space in 'Poove Unakkaga' (1996) because the director, Vikraman, needed two distinct comic foils for the hero — Bob played the nervous sidekick, Singamuthu the loudmouth. They had never met before the shoot.
• In 'Vedha' (2008), their comedy rhythm worked because Bob always played the straight man who gets flustered, while Singamuthu would escalate the situation with louder, faster dialogue. Bob once said in an interview that Singamuthu's energy forced him to stay sharp — if he blinked, he'd miss his cue.
• Despite making four films together over 21 years, Madhan Bob and Singamuthu never once exchanged phone numbers. They only met on set, through directors. After 'Vaigai Express' (2017), they lost touch completely.
