• Rama Rama Kya Hai Drama was originally offered to a bigger star. Rajpal Yadav and Aashish Chaudhary were cast only after the lead dropped out at the last minute. The director needed a duo that could shoot fast and cheap — and these two shot the entire film in 28 days.
• In Bhoothnath, Rajpal and Aashish played a ghost and a real estate agent. Rajpal improvised most of his comic timing on set. Aashish would deliberately pause his lines to give Rajpal space to land a gag — a rhythm they carried into Daddy Cool.
• During the shoot of Daddy Cool in Goa, Rajpal and Aashish shared a hotel room to save production costs. They spent nights rewriting each other's dialogues on napkins. Aashish later said that week made them 'brothers for life'.
• Aashish Chaudhary once said in an interview: 'Rajpal doesn't act — he just becomes the character. I had to work twice as hard to keep up with him in every scene.'
