• Sriman was actually cast in Samar (2013) because director Thiru needed a reliable actor who could play a cop with zero ego — and Sriman, who had already worked with Vishal in a smaller role, personally called Rajendran to say 'come do this villain part, we'll make it fun.' That call turned into their first film together.
• In Bairavaa (2017), Rajendran and Sriman had a face-off scene where Rajendran kept breaking into laughter mid-take. Sriman, without breaking character, started feeding him improvised lines to keep the energy alive. The director kept the final take because that unscripted tension made the scene crackle.
• On the sets of Motta Shiva Ketta Shiva (2017), the two shared a vanity van — not because of budget cuts, but because Rajendran insisted. He told the production team, 'Sriman keeps me calm before a comedy scene.' They'd run lines together for 20 minutes before every shot.

• In Baby & Baby (2025), the two play estranged brothers. Rajendran told the director he wanted to do the emotional climax in one continuous shot — and Sriman, who usually prefers multiple takes, agreed on one condition: they'd rehearse the entire scene in silence first, just reading each other's body language. They shot it in one take.
