• Rajendran and Nirosha first shared screen space in Puthiya Aatchi (1995) because the director needed a fresh pair for a political drama. Rajendran was still a struggling comedian, and Nirosha was a newcomer — neither was the first choice. The producer took a gamble on two unknowns.
• In Pottu (2019), their only hit together, Rajendran played a mute character. Nirosha had to carry all the dialogue in their scenes. She later said in an interview that acting opposite a silent Rajendran forced her to rely entirely on her eyes and body language — it made her performance sharper.
• Between Puthiya Aatchi (1995) and Enakku Innoru Per Irukku (2016), they didn't work together for 21 years. But when they finally reunited, Rajendran told the set that Nirosha still remembered his coffee order from the 90s — filter coffee, no sugar.
