• In Papa Kehte Hai (1996), Alok Nath and Tiku Talsania played brothers-in-law — but they had never met before the first day of shooting. Director Mahesh Bhatt threw them into a scene together without rehearsal, betting their natural awkwardness would sell the family tension.
• Tiku Talsania once said in an interview that Alok Nath would deliberately flub his lines during takes of Ghoonghat (1997) just to make Tiku laugh — and the director kept those takes because Tiku's genuine irritation looked like real on-screen frustration.
• After Tango Charlie (2005) wrapped, the two didn't speak for nearly a decade. Tiku later revealed it was because Alok Nath kept calling him 'Bhai' on set, and Tiku — who is Gujarati — thought he was being mocked for his accent. They patched things up at a film festival in 2017.
• The only reason Tiku Talsania got cast in Tango Charlie (2005) was because Alok Nath refused to do the film unless his 'Papa Kehte Hai co-star' was hired as the comic sidekick. The director caved, and Tiku's role ended up being the one that got him noticed by Priyadarshan.
