Tango Charlie is a 2005 Indian Hindi-language war film written and directed by Mani Shankar. It stars Bobby Deol as the title character, alongside Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt, Sunil Shetty, Tanishaa, and Nandana Sen. The film follows BSF soldier Tarun Chauhan across multiple internal conflicts in India, including insurgencies in the Northeast, Naxalite violence in central India, communal riots in Gujarat, and militancy in Kashmir. The narrative is framed by two Air Force pilots who find his diary after rescuing him from a battlefield. The film received mixed reviews but was praised by BBC for its study of terrorism, violence, and valour. It was banned in Assam for allegedly defaming the Bodo community. The music was composed by Anu Malik.
