Shaurya is a 2008 Hindi legal drama film directed by Samar Khan and Singh Nanak. The lead cast includes Rahul Bose, Jaaved Jaaferi, Minissha Lamba, Deepak Dobriyal, and Kay Kay Menon. The story follows Major Siddhant Chaudhary, an Indian Army lawyer who defends Captain Javed Khan, a Muslim soldier accused of murdering a senior officer. The film is set in an army base in Kashmir and explores themes of religious prejudice, military hierarchy, and moral courage. It is inspired by the Hindi play Court Martial and the Hollywood film A Few Good Men. The film received mixed reviews but was praised for Kay Kay Menon's performance. Storyline
Captain Javed Khan admits to killing a senior officer and refuses to defend himself. Major Siddhant Chaudhary, a lazy army lawyer, is assigned to his case. As Siddhant investigates, he uncovers a web of religious hatred and abuse inside the army base. He must fight a powerful brigadier to save Javed's life and expose the truth.
