Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya is a 2005 Indian Hindi-language romantic comedy film directed by David Dhawan. It stars Salman Khan, Sushmita Sen, and Katrina Kaif in lead roles, with Sohail Khan, Arshad Warsi, and Isha Koppikar in supporting parts. The film is a remake of the 1969 American film Cactus Flower, which was based on a French play. The story follows a womanizing doctor who asks his nurse to pose as his wife to impress a new love interest. The soundtrack was composed by Himesh Reshammiya and became one of the best-selling albums of the year. The film was a commercial success, grossing ₹55 crore at the box office. Katrina Kaif won the Stardust Award for Best Breakthrough Performance – Female for her role.

Storyline
Dr. Sameer Malhotra is a charming doctor who lies to women about being married. When he falls for Sonia, he needs a fake wife to keep up the act. He convinces his nurse Naina to play the role. But the lie spirals out of control, and Sameer must choose between the woman he chased and the one who truly loves him.
