• Salman insisted Sohail play his younger brother in 'Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya?' (2005) even though the director wanted someone else. Sohail wasn't even an actor at that point — he was a writer on the film.
• In 'Hello Brother' (1999), Salman played a ghost who switches bodies with Sohail's character. The comedy worked because Sohail deliberately played his scenes stiff and awkward, letting Salman's manic energy bounce off him.
